Description
Juicy and flavorful chicken tenderloins cooked in the air fryer for a healthier Cracker Barrel favorite.
Ingredients
1 ½ lbs (680g) chicken tenderloins
½ cup Italian dressing
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Cooking spray (for air fryer basket)
Instructions
In a bowl or zip-top bag, combine Italian dressing, honey, and lime juice.
Add chicken tenderloins, toss to coat, and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper flavor).
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Arrange chicken tenderloins in a single layer.
Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with a little garlic powder or smoked paprika before cooking.
Works with chicken breast strips if tenderloins aren’t available.
Pair with mashed potatoes, green beans, or salad for a complete Cracker Barrel–style meal.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
