Description

Ingredients

2 slices whole grain or sourdough bread, toasted

2 tbsp almond butter

1 small apple (Honeycrisp or Gala), thinly sliced

1 tsp honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Pinch of sea salt (optional)


Instructions

Toast bread slices until golden and crisp.

Spread almond butter evenly over the warm toast.

Arrange apple slices neatly on top of the almond butter.

Drizzle with honey or maple syrup.

Sprinkle with cinnamon, chopped nuts, and a pinch of sea salt if desired.

Serve immediately and enjoy the cozy fall flavors.

 

Notes

Use sunflower seed butter or cashew butter for a nut-free or flavor variation.
