Ingredients
1 slice of bread (thick-sliced whole-grain recommended)
½ ripe avocado
Pinch of salt (about ⅛ teaspoon, or to taste)
Optional toppings: flaky sea salt, red pepper flakes, sliced radishes, cherry tomatoes, everything bagel seasoning, olive oil drizzle, etc.
Instructions
Toast the Bread: Toast the slice of bread until golden and firm.
Prepare the Avocado: Remove the pit and scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork to desired consistency. Mix in a pinch of salt and adjust to taste.
Assemble: Spread the mashed avocado onto the toasted bread.
Serve: Enjoy immediately, plain or with optional toppings.
