1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 cup toffee bits (Heath bits or chopped toffee)
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
Make Base: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and egg until crumbly.
Form Crust: Press 2/3 of the mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan.
Add Filling: Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crust.
Add Toppings: Sprinkle toffee bits and chocolate chips (if using) over the top.
Top and Bake: Crumble the remaining cake mix dough on top. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and set at the edges.
Cool and Serve: Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars
