Description

The exact match title for this hearty and satisfying family dinner. A one-skillet wonder loaded with cheddar, tender potatoes, and flavorful ground beef — comfort food at its best.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Add diced potatoes, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix well.

Pour in beef broth, cover the skillet, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20–25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and liquid is absorbed.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the beef and potatoes. Cover again and cook for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Add veggies like bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach for extra nutrients.

For a spicy kick, mix in chili flakes or use pepper jack cheese.

Leftovers reheat well and taste even better the next day.

You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
