Description
A healthy and delicious frozen treat made with juicy strawberries, creamy yogurt, and a crisp chocolate shell—perfect for summer snacks.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
1 ½ cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
Sea salt (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, and honey or maple syrup (if using).
Spoon small clusters of the strawberry-yogurt mixture onto the parchment-lined sheet.
Freeze for 1–2 hours, or until completely solid.
Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
Dip the frozen clusters into the melted chocolate, coating fully or partially.
Place back on the parchment paper and sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
Freeze again for 10–15 minutes until set.
Store in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
Notes
Use flavored Greek yogurt (like strawberry or vanilla) for a fun twist.
Add chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or granola to the yogurt mixture for extra crunch.
Use dairy-free yogurt and vegan chocolate for a fully vegan option.
Perfect as a frozen treat, healthy snack, or post-workout bite.
