  • Yield: 8 bread bombs (or more, depending on dough size)

Description

Stuffed with creamy crab, juicy shrimp, and garlicky cheese, these golden bread bombs are a seafood lover’s dream appetizer.

Ingredients

For the Filling:

1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped

1/2 cup lump crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar

2 tablespoons mayonnaise or sour cream

1 green onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning or Cajun spice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice or hot sauce for zing

For the Garlic Bread Bombs:

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count) or pizza dough

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning

Optional: extra shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, mix shrimp, crab, cream cheese, mozzarella, mayo, green onion, garlic, Old Bay, and seasonings until creamy and well blended.

Flatten each biscuit or dough round into a 4-inch circle.

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the seafood filling into the center of each. Fold the edges up and pinch to seal tightly into a ball.

Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush each dough ball generously with the garlic butter.

Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Optional: Sprinkle with extra cheese in the last 5 minutes of baking.

Let cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm!

Notes

Use pre-cooked shrimp for quicker prep.

Substitute crab with more shrimp, or use a seafood blend.

Add diced jalapeños or red pepper flakes for a spicy version.

Great with marinara, remoulade, or ranch dip on the side.

Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
