Ingredients
4 cups cooked, shredded chicken (about 3 large breasts)
1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (e.g., Stove Top)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
½ cup sour cream
1 cup chicken broth
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter (optional, for extra richness)
Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
In another bowl, combine the stuffing mix with melted butter (if using) and chicken broth until moist but not soggy.
Spread stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
