Description
This easy Italian amaretto eggnog is a festive twist on a classic holiday drink. Made in just 2 minutes with creamy eggnog, almond liqueur, and a hint of rum—perfect for Christmas parties.
Ingredients
Single Serving:
4 oz good-quality eggnog
1 oz Disaronno Amaretto almond liqueur
1 tbsp white or dark rum (or 1 tsp rum extract for non-alcoholic option)
Ice cubes
Optional garnish:
2 cinnamon sticks
Ground nutmeg
Pitcher (Serves 8):
32 oz good-quality eggnog
1 cup Disaronno Amaretto liqueur
½ cup white or dark rum
About 8 cups ice cubes
16 cinnamon sticks (optional)
1 tbsp ground nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
Single Serving:
Add ice cubes to an 8 oz glass.
Pour in the Amaretto and rum.
Add eggnog and stir well to combine.
Garnish with cinnamon sticks and a sprinkle of ground nutmeg. Serve immediately.
Pitcher Instructions:
In a large pitcher, mix eggnog, Amaretto, and rum (do not add ice).
Stir until well combined.
Fill each serving glass with ice before pouring the mixture.
Garnish each drink with cinnamon sticks and ground nutmeg as desired.
Makes 8 servings.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, replace rum with rum extract and skip the Amaretto or use almond syrup.
Best served chilled.
Make ahead and refrigerate pitcher mix for up to 24 hours before serving (without ice).
