Ingredients
1 medium green cabbage
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prep Cabbage: Remove outer leaves, trim stem, and slice cabbage into ¾-inch thick rounds.
Season: In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush mixture over both sides of cabbage steaks.
Roast: Roast cabbage for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until edges are crispy and centers are tender.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and lemon juice if desired. Serve warm.
