These crispy fried strawberry cheesecake sandwiches are a fun and indulgent treat! With a creamy strawberry filling, crunchy coating, and warm fried perfection, they’re the ultimate dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
8 sandwich cookies (shortbread or your favorite)
4 tbsp strawberry jam
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 cup breadcrumbs or crushed graham crackers
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Optional: powdered sugar, whipped cream, fresh strawberries
Instructions
Make Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in strawberry jam.
Assemble Sandwiches: Spread ~1 tbsp of filling on 4 cookies, then top with remaining cookies to form sandwiches.
Prepare Coating: Beat egg in a shallow bowl. Add breadcrumbs/crushed graham crackers to another bowl.
Coat: Dip each sandwich in egg wash, then dredge in crumbs until fully coated.
Fry: Heat ½ inch oil in a skillet over medium. Fry sandwiches ~1–2 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels.
Serve: Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with whipped cream or berries. Serve warm.
Notes
Use flavored cream cheese for variation (vanilla, citrus).
Try raspberry or blueberry jam instead of strawberry.
Substitute cookies: graham crackers, chocolate wafers, or sugar cookies.
