Description
These rich, chocolate-packed brownie cookies combine the crackly tops of a brownie with the chewy centers of a cookie—perfect for any chocolate craving.
Ingredients
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
½ cup (120 g) light brown sugar, packed
½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
¾ cup (65 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment or silicone mats.
Whisk sugars and melted butter in a large bowl.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
Drop tablespoon-sized dough portions onto baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
Bake 8–10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft.
Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
Notes
Add chocolate chips, nuts, or marshmallows for extra flavor.
For a gourmet twist, drizzle with salted caramel.
Slight underbaking keeps centers extra fudgy.
