Description

Cheesy, beefy, and wrapped in golden buttery dough, these garlic butter cheeseburger rollups are the ultimate snack or party appetizer.

Ingredients

→ Filling

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup dill pickles, diced (optional)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

→ Dough and Topping

1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)

2 tablespoons garlic butter, melted

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder. Drain excess fat.

Mix Filling: Remove from heat and stir in crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, and pickles (if using). Let the mixture cool slightly.

Prepare Dough: On a floured surface, roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread beef mixture evenly, leaving a border along the edges.

Roll It Up: Roll dough tightly from the long edge into a log. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Brush & Bake: Brush with melted garlic butter and bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.

Slice & Serve: Slice into 6 portions. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Cool the filling slightly before assembling to avoid soggy dough.

Optional toppings like sesame seeds or a drizzle of burger sauce can enhance presentation.

These rollups reheat well and are great for lunchboxes or freezer meals.
