Description

Juicy, zesty chicken tenders marinated in garlic and lime, then seared or grilled to perfection—ideal for any meal.

Ingredients

1 ½ lbs chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

2 teaspoons lime zest

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon honey (optional, for balance)

1 teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate Chicken: In a large bowl, whisk olive oil, lime juice, zest, garlic, honey, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken tenders and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for maximum flavor).

Cook on Stovetop: Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken tenders in a single layer and cook 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).

Alternative: Grill chicken tenders on an outdoor grill for a smoky flavor.

Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro and extra lime wedges. Serve with rice, tortillas, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Great in tacos, burrito bowls, or wraps.

For extra spice, add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.

Meal prep-friendly — store cooked tenders in fridge up to 4 days.

Make it creamy: Drizzle with chipotle mayo or garlic yogurt sauce.
