Ingredients
Base Mix:
2 cups Chex mix
2 cups popcorn
2 cups pretzels, gluten free if desired
1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
White Chocolate Coating:
9 oz white chocolate (dairy free if desired)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Toppings:
Christmas sprinkles (use allergen-friendly if needed)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex mix, popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts.
Melt the white chocolate and coconut oil together using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the snack mix and gently stir to coat all the pieces evenly.
Fold in Christmas sprinkles and any optional mix-ins like mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes.
Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.
Break into bite-sized pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
Notes
To make this recipe vegan, use dairy-free white chocolate and ensure pretzels and sprinkles are vegan-certified.
For nut-free, omit the peanuts or replace with sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.
Add-ins like mini M&Ms, marshmallows, or dried cranberries work great for extra flavor and color.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
