Description

A flavorful twist on a classic BLT—these easy tortilla wraps are loaded with crispy bacon, juicy marinated tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and a tangy homemade sauce.

Ingredients

For the wraps:

4 low-carb wraps

3/4 cup shredded lettuce

12 bacon strips (cooked until crispy and crumbled)

For the tomato marinade:

3 large beefsteak tomatoes, thinly sliced

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

1/4 cup olive oil (Pompeian extra virgin olive oil recommended)

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

For the secret sauce:

1/4 cup mayonnaise (preferably Hellmann’s)

1 tbsp reserved tomato basting mixture (from marinade above)

Instructions

Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Prepare the Tomato Marinade
In a shallow dish, combine sliced tomatoes with olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. Gently toss or brush to coat each slice. Let sit for a few minutes to absorb flavor.

Make the Flavored Mayo (Secret Sauce)
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of the reserved tomato marinade (including juices). Mix well.

Assemble the Wraps
Warm wraps for 10–15 seconds in the microwave for easier rolling. Spread 1 tablespoon of the flavored mayo over each wrap. Layer with lettuce, 3 slices of marinated tomato, and 3 strips of bacon.

Roll and Serve
Roll each wrap tightly. Let rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice diagonally if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for the mayo.

Use turkey bacon or vegetarian bacon if preferred.

Romaine, iceberg, or arugula all work well as lettuce options.

Keep ingredients separated for meal prep and assemble fresh for best texture.

Avoid soggy wraps by draining tomatoes well and patting cooked bacon dry.
