Description
This grilled peanut butter banana sandwich is golden, crispy, and gooey with sweet bananas and creamy PB. A quick comfort snack or nostalgic breakfast ready in minutes.
Ingredients
4 slices thick white bread
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 ripe banana, thinly sliced
Instructions
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice (this side will be grilled).
On the opposite side of two slices, spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.
Layer banana slices evenly over the peanut butter.
Top with remaining bread slices, mayo side out.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Grill sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Add honey, cinnamon, or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
Use chunky peanut butter or crushed nuts for texture.
Best served hot, but can be stored in the fridge for a day and reheated in a skillet.
