Description
These grilled pineapple slices are sweet, juicy, and caramelized to perfection—an easy tropical side or dessert that’s ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
1 ripe pineapple
1–2 Tbsp olive oil or neutral oil spray
Optional Sweet Glaze (choose one):
2 Tbsp brown sugar + 1 Tbsp butter + ¼ tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp maple syrup + pinch of salt
1 Tbsp honey + squeeze of lime juice
Instructions
Trim the pineapple (top and bottom), peel, and slice into ½-inch thick rings. Core the center if desired.
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (350–375 °F). Oil the grates or lightly spray the slices.
Brush pineapple rings lightly with oil or chosen glaze.
Grill for 3–5 minutes per side until charred and caramelized.
Transfer to a platter and drizzle with glaze, if using. Serve warm or room temp.
Notes
Use pineapple cubes on skewers for a fun presentation.
Skip glaze for a cleaner, tangy-sweet flavor great with savory mains.
Add a dash of cinnamon or chili powder for a bold twist.
