Description

A refreshing West African baobab milk drink, naturally sweet and tangy with a creamy texture—perfect for cooling off.

Ingredients

200 g baobab powder (dried fruit pulp)

1 L milk

300 mL water

200 mL unsweetened condensed milk

100 g granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

2 tsp vanilla extract

Optional: strawberry syrup for serving

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine milk, water, and condensed milk.

Add baobab powder and whisk until fully dissolved.

Stir in sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.

Chill in the refrigerator for several hours.

Serve cold over ice. Optionally, drizzle strawberry syrup in each glass.

Notes

Use almond or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.

Add mango puree or orange blossom water for variety.

Shake or stir well before serving to mix settled pulp.

Let sit longer before straining for a thicker texture.
