Description
These low-carb smash burgers bring all the fast food flavor with none of the guilt—cheesy, saucy, and wrapped in crispy zero-carb tortillas.
Ingredients
For the Burgers:
8 keto zero-carb street taco-sized tortillas
1 pound ground beef
8 slices American cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ cup dill pickle slices
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Keto Big Mac Sauce:
⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles
1½ teaspoons yellow mustard
3 teaspoons sugar-free ketchup
¼ teaspoon vinegar
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Mix ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Divide into 8 equal balls.
Press each ball onto the center of a tortilla, flattening it to cover most of the surface.
Heat a skillet over medium-high. Place the tortilla meat-side down into the skillet, press with a spatula, and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned.
Flip so the meat side is up. Add a slice of cheese, and cook for 2–3 more minutes until cheese melts and tortilla is crispy.
In a bowl, mix all sauce ingredients.
Spread sauce on each burger and top with shredded lettuce and pickle slices.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Lettuce wraps can replace tortillas for fewer carbs.
Sauce is best added fresh after reheating.
Store unassembled in the fridge for up to 2 days.
