Description

These loaded cheese beef fries are topped with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, and creamy sour cream, making them the ultimate comfort food for game day or any gathering.

Ingredients

1 bag frozen French fries (about 20 oz)

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon taco seasoning (or seasoning of choice)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup diced tomatoes

¼ cup sliced green onions

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Optional toppings:

Pickled jalapeños

Diced red onion

Hot sauce

Instructions

Bake French fries per package instructions until golden and crispy.

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer 2–3 minutes until beef is well-coated.

Transfer fries to oven-safe dish; top with seasoned beef and sprinkle with shredded cheddar.

Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts.

Remove from oven; top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro if using.

Serve immediately with optional toppings like pickled jalapeños, red onion, or hot sauce.

Notes

Substitute ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter or vegetarian option.

Add extra heat with jalapeños, hot sauce, or chili flakes.

Mix in veggies like bell peppers or olives for more flavor and texture.

Use different cheeses like Monterey Jack or pepper jack for variation.
