Description

This cozy maple latte is made with real maple syrup, smooth espresso, and creamy milk—naturally sweet and perfect hot or iced!

Ingredients

13 tablespoons pure maple syrup (adjust to taste)

2 shots espresso (or 3 oz strongly brewed coffee)

⅛ teaspoon maple extract (optional)

812 ounces milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)

Instructions

For a Hot Maple Latte:

In a mug, combine maple syrup and espresso. Add maple extract if using. Stir well.

Steam milk using a frother or stovetop method, then pour over the espresso mixture.

Garnish with a maple leaf cookie, if desired.

For an Iced Maple Latte:

In a tall glass, stir maple syrup and espresso together with maple extract if using.

Add ice, then top with cold milk.

Stir and enjoy!

Notes

Recipe yields one latte but is easily multiplied.

No espresso maker? Strong brewed coffee works too!

Refer to the full post for stovetop milk steaming instructions.
