Description

This quick and flavorful shrimp dish is cooked in butter, garlic, and Old Bay seasoning—perfect for a speedy seafood dinner that’s ready in minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined

2 Tbsp unsalted butter

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (adjust to taste)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Heat butter + olive oil in a skillet over medium‑high heat.

Add shrimp in a single layer, sprinkle Old Bay, cook 2‑3 min per side until pink and opaque.

Add garlic, sauté 30 sec until fragrant, then stir in lemon juice.

Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve right away.

Notes

Add quick-sautéed bell peppers, onions, or spinach for a veggie boost.

For extra heat, sprinkle in cayenne or red pepper flakes.

Swap in cayenne, paprika, or lemon pepper if Old Bay isn’t available.

Stir in another pat of butter at the end for a richer sauce.
