Description

Crispy phyllo wrapped around warm feta, baked until golden and served with sweet-spicy chili honey—a bold Mediterranean-inspired appetizer.

Ingredients

8 oz (225 g) feta cheese block, cut into 8 pieces

6 sheets phyllo pastry, thawed

¼ cup melted butter (or olive oil)

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

¼ tsp smoked paprika

¼ tsp garlic powder

Pinch of salt and pepper

For Chili Honey:

½ cup honey

1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

Combine parsley, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Brush a phyllo sheet with melted butter, sprinkle with seasoning, and fold in half.

Add a slice of feta at one end, fold in sides, and roll tightly. Brush outside with butter.

Repeat with remaining phyllo and feta. Arrange seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden and crisp.

Warm honey in a small pan, stir in chili flakes, and remove from heat.

Drizzle rolls with chili honey or serve as a dipping sauce.

Notes

Add a sliver of sun-dried tomato or roasted red pepper for extra flavor.

Swap parsley for thyme or mint for a variation.
