Description

Golden caramelized peaches with warm maple-cinnamon glaze—perfect over yogurt, pancakes, or ice cream for a sweet, simple treat.

Ingredients

2 ripe but firm peaches, sliced

1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, fresh mint, Greek yogurt, ice cream, or granola

Instructions

Heat coconut oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Add sliced peaches in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes without stirring until lightly golden.

Flip the peach slices. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.

Cook for another 2–3 minutes, until peaches are soft and caramelized.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Serve warm, topped with yogurt, granola, or ice cream as desired.

Notes

Choose firm peaches to prevent them from becoming mushy during cooking.

For added crunch, top with toasted pecans or almonds.

Use vegan butter or coconut oil to keep the recipe dairy-free and vegan.
