Description

Flaky puff pastry cups filled with melty brie, coated in crunchy pistachios and finished with a sweet fig honey glaze—perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

→ Main Components:

170 g brie cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

→ Coating and Topping:

65 g chopped pistachios

2 tablespoons fig jam

1 tablespoon honey

→ Finishing:

1 egg, beaten

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut puff pastry into 12 small squares and gently press each into a mini muffin tin to create pastry cups.

Roll brie cubes in chopped pistachios and place one in each pastry cup.

Brush pastry edges with beaten egg.

Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed.

Mix fig jam and honey in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over hot brie bites immediately after baking.

Serve warm to enjoy the creamy texture and balanced flavors.

Notes

Serve immediately after baking for best texture and flavor.

Brie can be placed in the freezer for a few minutes to make cutting easier.

Substitute fig jam with apricot or raspberry preserves for variation.
