Description
A warm and gooey cheese appetizer that’s both effortless and impressive. Sweet roasted grapes meet rich Camembert for a crowd-pleasing bite served with crusty bread or crackers.
Ingredients
2 cups red seedless grapes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small wheel of Camembert cheese
Fresh thyme sprigs (optional, for garnish)
Crusty bread or crackers, for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place grapes in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
Roast grapes for 8 minutes, until softened and beginning to burst.
Remove from oven and dot with pieces of Camembert.
Return to oven for 2 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh thyme if desired and serve warm with crusty bread or crackers.
Notes
Drizzle honey over the grapes before baking for extra sweetness.
Add chopped walnuts or pecans for crunch.
Brie can be used in place of Camembert for a slightly milder flavor.
A splash of balsamic vinegar adds a tangy twist.
Best served immediately after baking, but can be gently reheated.
