Ingredients
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1 shot espresso or ⅓ cup strong brewed coffee
2 tablespoons sakura (cherry blossom) syrup
½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Whipped cream (optional)
Edible cherry blossoms (optional garnish)
Instructions
Brew espresso or strong coffee.
Heat milk in a saucepan until steaming. Froth with a whisk or frother.
In a cup, stir together sakura syrup and vanilla extract (if using).
Add brewed espresso, then pour in steamed milk. Top with foam.
Garnish with whipped cream and cherry blossoms if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Make it iced by using chilled coffee and cold milk over ice.
Use rose or lavender syrup if sakura is unavailable.
For a non-coffee version, use herbal tea or hot water.
