Description
This no-bake Shamrock Shake dessert features layers of mint pudding, crushed Oreos, and whipped topping for a festive and creamy St. Patrick’s Day treat.
Ingredients
36 Oreo cookies, crushed
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 (8 oz) tubs whipped topping, thawed
3 (3.4 oz) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
1 teaspoon mint extract
Green food coloring (as desired)
Optional toppings:
Additional crushed Oreos
Whipped cream
Maraschino cherries
Instructions
In a medium bowl, mix crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press into a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Chill.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 tub of whipped topping. Spread over the crust.
In another bowl, whisk pudding mixes with cold milk until thick. Add mint extract and green food coloring. Fold in second tub of whipped topping. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
Before serving, garnish with crushed Oreos, whipped cream, and maraschino cherries, if desired.
Notes
Use chocolate pudding for a chocolate-mint variation.
Substitute gluten-free chocolate sandwich cookies for a gluten-free version.
Replace whipped topping with homemade whipped cream if preferred.
