Description

This restaurant-style baked salmon is glazed with a sweet and savory sauce, creating a caramelized finish and tender, juicy texture that’s perfect for easy weeknight meals.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.

Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, coating the tops and sides.

Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and brush with the remaining glaze for added flavor and shine.

Return to oven and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Let salmon rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use fillets of equal thickness for even cooking.

Don’t skip the second glaze application—it enhances flavor and shine.

Internal temperature should reach 145°F for safe consumption.

Allow salmon to rest briefly before serving to retain juiciness.

For extra caramelization, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end of baking.
